Every plant needs the right amount of food (nutrients) to grow. By measuring conductivity, it can be ensured that the plants have access to the right amount of nutrients at all stages of growth. The simplest way to monitor the amount of nutrients in a solution is to measure the conductivity, which refers to the total ionic content (dissolved salts) of the solution. Moisture measurement optimizes irrigation cycles and water consumption while controlling the risk of root infections. By regularly measuring the temperature, temperature fluctuations can be detected and root functions can be optimized.
