Vermiculite description

Vermiculite is a mineral formed by iron or magnesium silicates belonging to the mica group. Improves soil aeration, retains moisture as nutrients needed to feed roots, cuttings and seeds for rapid growth. Vemiculite is pure, non-toxic and sterile, non-perishable. It has a neutral pH value (7.2). When mixed with peat, bark manure, compost or natural soil, vermiculite speeds up the growth and anchoring of young roots. This mixture helps preserve air, nutrients and moisture, which are essential for good plant growth.
