Plagron Cocos Premium perlite 70/30 (50 l) is a combination of two high-quality carriers: Cocos Premium and Perlité. The mixture contains 70% coconut fiber and 30% perlite. Excellent for growing in pots and recirculation systems. Fully buffered, Cocos has a stable pH. Perlite provides an airy substrate and better drainage. An ideal mixture for the growth and flowering of the plant.

• What are the advantages of this mixed substrate compared to traditional Coco or Hydro substrates?

The mixture of coconut fiber and perlite combines the best of both substrates. The coconut is completely rinsed and buffered, resulting in a forgiving carrier that evens out pH issues. Perlite makes the substrate more airy and provides better drainage. Separate coconut or perlite substrates would not combine these properties.

• Should I use Cocos A&B or Hydro A&B with Cocos Perlite 70/30?

Plagron Cocos Perlite 70/30 is part of the 100% COCO cultivation style. This means that we recommend using Cocos A&B as a base nutrient. Hydro A&B will work, but we don't recommend it.
