This series of self-watering systems has an internal water storage. The growing trays are carried over the reservoir on elevated platforms, which in turn are covered with capillary mats. Of course, the plants drain the water from the capillary mat as needed. This 5-piece set includes a reservoir tray, a support platform, a 24-cell growing tray, a capillary mat and a clear cover. Each of the growing cells measures 5 cm x 4.7 cm x 5.8 cm deep and has a capacity of 0.1 liters. With the exception of the capillary mat and clear covers, this unit is made from recycled plastic. The growing tray can be reused year after year and can be easily sterilized in a dishwasher.
