CMH technology produces high energy PAR/PPF levels with low heat in a full spectrum that is closer to sunlight, resulting in healthier plant growth and higher yields. With a CRI (Color Rendering Index) of over 90%, CMH is perfect for growing high-quality produce and extracting essential oils. Double-ended CMH lamps are more stable than traditional single-ended metal halide (MH) lamps, allowing them to increase light intensity and PAR/PPF output by up to 50% compared to standard MH lamps of similar wattage. The PCA ceramic arc tube allows the lamp to operate at higher internal temperatures, increasing color rendering, performance and efficiency. PCA resists interaction with chemicals within the tube, which stabilizes the chemical mixture over the life of the lamp, improving color consistency and maintaining PAR/PPF levels. Pulse start technology enables faster start and restart times, longer lamp life and higher lumen maintenance.
